Are you ready to make a bright Christmas Candy wreath? If you have been here a while you know I love to have fun with flowers. You also know I love to have any reason to celebrate. I also love to create swag centerpieces to have on display at those celebrations.
It is almost Christmas a day that so many celebrate, and love to see those bright red and green colors! Although this wreath doesn’t have florals, it is still a beauty, capturing all the festive colors and fun we need.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to maintain a natural look with snowy greenery and pretty little berries. The metallic candy lollipop is my absolute favorite though. It reminds me of the hard candies I would find in my stocking every Christmas morning.

Let’s get started on this Bright Christmas Candy Wreath!

Ingredients
1.5″ Light Green Glitter – Red and White Railroad Stripe Ribbon 10 Yard Roll
2.5″ Red Satin with Dots and Green and White Stripe Edge Ribbon on a 10 Yard Roll4″ Red and Lime Velvet Stripes Ribbon on 10 Yard Roll
Hot Glue Sticks
Directions
- Our main focal point on this small grapevine will be our Red White Green Metallic Lollipop Stem. Keep the long stem and slide it right through the inner center of our grapevine. It should rest perfectly right in the center circle of our grapevine. Do not cut our stem just yet.
- To tie it in tight so it doesn’t wiggle, use a zip tie to hold it in place. Trim excess zip tie. Trim stem a bit
- Secure it from the sides for support. Insert a BBQ skewer through the guts of the grapevine from one side, right into the left side of your candy foam. Repeat on the right side as well. Trim excess skewer. These little steps to secure won’t be visible once we add all of our greenery so don’t worry.Â
- Grab your Heavy Snow Leaf next. Cut pieces from the main bundle. Work these pieces in, going around the grapevine minding the same angle of the circle. Keep your flow consistent. Use hot glue as you insert.Â
- Next let’s grab our Glitter Hockeberry Stem and divide that up into bundles. Use your wire cutters to easily get that divided up. Work into the grapevine, alternating between the snow leaf greenery we just added.
- Go back and fill in your gaps with more Heavy Snow Leaf pieces and Glitter Hockeberry around the grapevine. Step back and look at your work from all angles. Make sure your wreath is nice and full.Â
- Manipulate and adjust your greenery so it maintains the same circular angle as you work. Fill in so there is no space showing the center of your wreath by your candy lollipop center.Â
- Let’s attach our large premade Christmas bow with a large stick and a zip tie.Â
- If you have not made your bow yet, check out this tutorial on How to Make Large Christmas Bows! It will teach you, step by step, how to make the most fabulous Christmas bows you have ever seen.Â
- Attach your stick to the back of your bow, holding in place. Secure a zip tie around it so they are one whole piece. Trim excess zip tie. Add some hot glue on that little spot to help secure the stick and zip tie to the bow.
- Let’s add the bow right on the bottom center of our grapevine. Slide the stick into the guts of the grapevine. Pushing hard in place. Use a zip tie to secure as well.Â
- Fluff your loops and curl those tails so they look full and fabulous. Â
- Add more filler greenery necessary to balance out your wreath. Let’s add a bit more of our bushes to give it a natural look.
- Step back and look at your wreath. Make any adjustments where you see fit. Be sure that the bow’s loops are full and fancy. Tails are hanging prettily. Greenery and berries maintain a consistent flow with your angles.

- Start by finding cutting the styrofoam so it is nestled inside of the Green Frankenstein Bucket so that it sits nicely inside and glue down. I like to use both Gorilla Glue and Hot Glue to really secure it for both now and long term.
- Cut Black Garland Base into small sections and set your base, spreading for maximum coverage.
- Prep your picks by grabbing your Purple Green Orange Felt Ball Twig Sprays. Sseparating them into smaller picks. You can also twist the black chenille around your finger to create a fun effect.Â
- Trim your Glitter Eye Ball Picks and add to the stryofoam. Be sure to space them for the best visual display.
- Cut and prep the White Black Chenille Curly Stems add some dimension to them by curling with your fingers to really give them life.
- Stem back and look at your your centerpiece. Are thier bald or blank spaces? Fluff you black garland to fill and use the wires in your products from Keleas.com to really get the pieces where you want them.
- Grab one of your Glitter Curly Velvet Ball Picks and trim the stem down to a couple of inches. Fluff out your pick, and then place it to the left of your bow, tucking it behind the bow to have it peek out from behind it.Â
