Moss Bunny Wreath

Today I am showing you have to create a cluster method when it comes to wreath making. What I mean by referring to a cluster method is taking a few florals and greenery and making basically an attachment to add to a wreath from. This one today will be is built off of the base. This is a great technique for anyone to learn but especially beginners. Once you learn this you will be able to make numerous of wreaths this way but look amazing!

When you work with florals you need to remember to take the time to shake hands with each piece. This is also important when using the cluster method. I talk a lot about how to shake hands in my design school but it simply means just to spread out each part of your floral picks and make them beautiful and pretty.

Once you have your cluster pieces laid out next you add your greenery and just like that you have your cluster. Ya’ll it is so simple and this will allow you to feel confident in creating those masterpieces I know you can make.

No matter if you are wanting to make wreaths to sell online or even fill up a craft booth these types of wreaths are the easiest things to make. You can knock out simple projects just like this one when you use a premade wreath form and the cluster method.

Directions

  • Start by making your cluster. Using your two floral picks, shake hands with your floral pieces. Then lay them opposite of each other making a straight line
  • Add in your greenery pieces to your floral pieces. Lay them on top and what you do on top you must do the same on the bottom. Crisscross them in the middle to have something in the center to hold our bow up.
  • To secure use an 8 inch cable tie and run it under your middle section. Make it stable by popping in a little bit of glue after you have cinched it tight.
  • Add a 2-1-1 recipe that we previously made on a Bow Wednesday. Before you add your bow to the middle of your cluster test out the floral cluster on the bottom of the bunny premade wreath form.
  • Tie the cluster on the lower portion of the bunny wreath form. Secure it using your bow’s long cable tie. This will attach both the floral cluster and the bow at one time.
  • Finish off by fluffing any greenery or ribbon pieces that need fluffing.
