Directions

  • Grab your 18” pine wreath and make it nice and full. Prop it up so you can easily work and create.
  • Grab your Glittery Angel Pine Stem and shake hands with it. Separate from the main stem. Beginning adding the pewter color in the background of your wreath base. Start with your larger pieces. Keep the angle as you insert your dipped stems in hot glue to stay secure in your base.
  • Using the zig zag technique, insert your smaller pine pieces on the inner circle. This will provide a nice flow to the texture of your design.
  • Next to continue to build depth and dimension, let’s add your Rose Gold Glitter Pine Stem to the next layer of your wreath. Be sure to separate in sections from the main bundle. Make sure they are not all clumped up as you add around your wreath.
  • Shift as you work in one quadrant at a time. Any extra pieces from your main bundles can be used to fill in holes at the end, so keep that in mind crafters.
  • Be sure to bend your wires when needed so they stand out from your wreath and dimension.
  • That sparkle will be set all around your wreath, both inside and out making sure your angles remain the same.
  • Next add your Glitter Pine Stem to add an ombre feel to your wreath. Begin to break apart from the main bundle.
  • Trim stems if needed to help work with ease. Be sure to shake hands before you add to your wreath. Don’t forget to dip stems in hot glue to secure in place.
  • Insert these elements into the midline of your wreath. They will be paired with your pieces you have already added. Be sure to add one to every piece of Rose Gold Pine. Continue around your wreath so it is nice and full.
  • Next grab your 3 Magnolia picks, remove the tags, and fluff them. Thank goodness each petal is wired for easy manipulation.
  • Begin playing with placement to have a visual before gluing officially in place. This Is an important step, because it shows how you care about every little detail. That means more dollars for those of you who plan to sell your creations.
  • Once happy with placement in your triangular shape with nice even spacing in your design, you can move on to permanent steps for your wreath. Be sure you are keeping the same angle of the design on your wreath, trim the stem a bit, and then hot glue in place.
  • Last, fill in any holes on your wreath, by using the same pieces from the background. You should have had a few extra pieces/clusters, so utilize them.

Which Color of Spanish Moss is Best to Use for the Different Seasons for Wreaths?

This is such a great question! I am so glad you asked. When I am working with fall colors, I like to use the Chartreuse color Spanish Moss, as it just blends nicely, giving it a more natural look. When working with darker pines, be sure to use a darker green color for your spanish moss to hide your mechanics where necessary. This also works for wreaths made with spring colors too.

  • Stem back and look at your your centerpiece. Are thier bald or blank spaces? Fluff you black garland to fill and use the wires in your products from Keleas.com to really get the pieces where you want them.
  • Grab one of your Glitter Curly Velvet Ball Picks and trim the stem down to a couple of inches. Fluff out your pick, and then place it to the left of your bow, tucking it behind the bow to have it peek out from behind it.
