Halloween Door Hanger
Imagine you’re strolling down your street on a fantastic October evening, and you spot a house with the most cheerful decor. It’s got these excellent purple and orange colors that scream “party time!” And check this out – a grinning pumpkin and a playful cat is hanging out, ready to greet anyone who walks by. This isn’t just a piece of decor; it’s like a big ol’ “Welcome to Halloween” sign! That is what we want our customers to feel when they are shopping for wreaths at our craft shows. We want them to SEE our wreaths on thier front door.
What’s cool about this Halloween door hanger is that it’s not trying too hard. While others might go all out with spooky decorations, this one keeps it simple but oh-so-charming. It’s like a reminder that Halloween is about having a blast, not just getting spooked. This simple, and easy design is always a crowd favorite.

So, if you’re as pumped as we are about Halloween, this door hanger is a must-have. It’s not just a piece of decoration; it’s a statement. It’s saying, “Hey, the spooky season is here, but definitely make it cute!” Whether you’re a seller or planning epic pumpkin-carving sessions or hosting costume shindigs, this door hanger is the perfect kick-off. Directions
- Start with your base, the Halloween Metal Fence Cat Sign. I decided to change out the bow, so I pulled the bow off. This prepared the sign for our fun additions.
- Attach a small block of floral foam to the far left picket. This is where we will add our picks and bow. I attached mine with both gorilla glue and hot glue, and it seemed to secure well.
- Break down your Glitter Spider Ball Spray picks. I cut off the black twigs, then cut them down into 3 smaller picks. I also separated the swirls from the spider and ball. This will allow us to add more dimension to our sign.
- Add your first black twig pick to the floral foam, sticking out from the right of the foam. Add your other black twig diagonally across the foam, sticking out to the left of the foam.
- Add your first spider and ball pick to the upper right of the foam.
- Insert your bow with 2.5″ Ribbon and 1.5″ Ribbon, into the foam, and be sure to add hot glue before you do. This will anchor your bow on the sign.
- Add your other spider and ball pick to the lower left side of the foam, diagonally from the first spider and ball pick.
- Add your swirl picks. I put both behind my bow, adding some dimension to the bow.
- Add your last, wispy black twig pieces into your foam, allowing them to fall in front of the bow to create dimension.
