Directions

  • Begin placing your Purple Green Orange Felt Ball Twig Sprays on your base. I placed one sticking out the top and two sticking out the bottom, creating a triangle shape with the stems. Secure your stems with a cable tie where all 3 stems cross over in the middle. Fluff out your stems to give them more dimension and movement.
  • Trim off any pieces of your sprays that will be covered by your witch head, and secure them higher on the base.
  • Cut two small slits in the back of your witch head, and thread your cable tie through the slits. Place your witch onto your base, and secure. I put mine a little to the left, and I was sure to split her hair in half to help it really show on the swag instead of hiding behind her head.
  • Place your witch legs into your swag, following the same direction as your witch head. Secure with a cable tie.
  • Add your Orange and Black Glitter Ball Sprays to your swag, breaking up the lines you’ve created with the witch head and legs, by placing them on either side of the swag through the middle of the swag.
  • Attach your bow in between the witch head and legs, on top of the ball sprays.
  • Fluff your sprays and bow, and your swag is ready!

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Change out the colors or elements to make the swag your own. The best part of this swag is that it’s so easily customizable!
  • If you’re not happy with a swag, you could use any of these elements on a wreath for a similar, but different, look.
  • I added glue to some of my stems as I placed them into my swag, but you can absolutely do a dry run. Just stick your stems into your swag and you’re able to move them around until you’re happy with their placement.

Indoor vs. Outdoor Halloween Swag Decor

The beauty of Halloween swags is their versatility; they can thrive in both settings, each offering its unique charm. Indoors, a Halloween swag can become a striking centerpiece on your mantel, above your fireplace, or even a spooky addition to your dining room. These swags take on a different role outdoors, instantly transforming your front door or porch into a wickedly inviting space. So, whether you choose to enchant your indoor sanctuary or create outdoor thrills, Halloween swags are your versatile allies in creating the perfect seasonal ambiance.

Ideas for Decorating with Halloween Swags

There are so many ways to decorate with swags. Start by hanging it on your front door for a whimsical and inviting entrance that sets the tone for your festivities. Pair it with friendly, grinning pumpkins, colorful bunting, and a ‘Welcome, Witches!’ sign to complete the cheerful ambiance. Inside your home, consider using smaller Swags as delightful table centerpieces, draping them over the backs of chairs or incorporating them into a Halloween-themed vignette on your mantel. Add plush stuffed black cats, friendly ghosts, and fairy lights for a touch of enchantment. This playful swag also makes a fantastic backdrop for photos, so set up a photo booth area with props and let your guests capture their own magical memories.
