Ready to get started? We’ll guide you through each step to ensure your Birdie Floral Arrangement turns out beautifully. With just a few materials and a dash of creativity, you’ll have a lovely piece that adds charm and elegance to any room. Let’s dive in and create something beautiful together!

Directions

  • Start by prepping your White Bird Cloche. Add a small chunk of floral foam with a bit of hot glue, toward the back of your cloche.
  • Prep your Cream Green Mini Fishtail Fern Bush by taking 3 stems from the bush and pushing the greenery up on the stem as far as you need to ensure they don’t hit the top of your cloche when you add them to your floral foam. Trim them with about a 1” stem.
  • Add these stems to your floral foam, one in the middle, and one on either side.
  • Now break down your Teal Eucalyptus Bud Stem. I broke mine down and had about a 1” stem.
  • Add these stems to your floral foam. I added three of these stems as well, one in the middle, and one on either side.
  • Grab the rest of your Cream Green Mini Fishtail Fern Bush and push the rest of your stems up really short. These will go in your foreground. I added 2 to the front of my floral foam, then set the other 2 stems to the side.
  • Cut down 4 of your Light Teal Berry Cluster Bundles with a short stem, about 1”. Add two in between your eucalyptus stems, and save the others.
  • To the front of the foam, add two of your saved Cream Green Mini Fishtail Fern Bush stems, then two of your saved Light Teal Berry Cluster Bundles.
  • Add your last two Cream Green Mini Fishtail Fern Bush stems to the center front of the floral foam.
  • Add your last Light Teal Berry Cluster Bundle with a longer stem, then add it to the center of your arrangement, coming out of the middle.
  • Fluff your berry clusters and greenery and your arrangement is done!

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Change out the colors or elements to make the centerpiece your own. Add a (battery operated!) candle or two. Use different greenery and florals. You could even use Christmas or Halloween elements to make it a totally different look! The best part of this centerpiece is that it’s so easily customizable!
  • I love my glue skillet. I just melt hot glue sticks in a regular kitchen skillet, which allows me to just easily dip my stems into the glue rather than trying to get my glue where I need it with a glue gun.
  • I added glue to some of my stems as I placed them into my centerpiece, but you can absolutely do a dry run. Just stick your stems into your centerpiece and you’re able to move them around until you’re happy with their placement.

How can I secure the floral foam inside the White Bird Cloche?

To secure the floral foam inside the White Bird Cloche, hot glue is an excellent option. Begin by cutting the floral foam to fit snugly at the base of the cloche. Apply a generous amount of hot glue to the bottom of the foam, then press it firmly into place inside the cloche. Hold it for a few seconds to ensure a strong bond. This will provide a stable base for your greenery and berry clusters, keeping everything securely in place as you create your arrangement.

What are some creative ways to display my Birdie Floral Arrangement?

There are many creative ways to display your Birdie Floral Arrangement! Place it on a side table or mantel to add a touch of nature to your living room. It can also serve as a charming centerpiece on your dining table or kitchen island. For a unique look, display it on a windowsill where it can catch natural light, enhancing the vibrant greenery and berry clusters. You could even place it in a bathroom or bedroom for a refreshing and elegant touch. Experiment with different locations to find the perfect spot that complements your decor.
