- Start by prepping your Bee Pocket for your florals by adding some floral foam into the pocket. I added a good bit of hot glue to the foam to really anchor it into the pocket.Â
- Start preparing your Mini Fishtail Fern Bush by pushing some of the leaves up a bit, then cut each stem off the bush.Â
- Set your background with the Mini Fishtail Fern stems. Start with a long stem in the middle of the back, then two a little shorter on each side, and two more a little shorter on each side of that. Set aside the rest of the Mini Fishtail Fern stems.
- Break down your Bee Stem by cutting down the long, main stem, then tearing the stems apart.Â
- Decide how high you want your highest bee to be, then cut that stem down. Add that first bee to the back of your piece, leaning to the left.Â
- Cut the grass off your Honeycomb Pick, then add the honeycomb pieces to the back, leaning to the right.Â
- Cut three stems off your Small Boxwood, pretty long. Add these to your design, in front of and around the honeycomb pick.
- Cut the grass you cut off your Honeycomb Pick into 3 pieces, then add one to each side of the piece, hanging off the sides, and then add one in the middle. I weaved this grass in and through the honeycomb.Â
- Grab your other stems of bees. I cut mine so that one was by itself and two were together. I added one group of two bees leaning to the left, and one leaning to the right.Â
- Push up the rest of the leaves on your Small Boxwood bush and cut those stems short. I added my four stems to the very front of the Bee Pocket, hanging over the front of the Bee Pocket.Â
- Add your two single bee stems to the piece. I added one stretched really tall just in front of the honeycomb pick, and the other squished short just in front of the bee at the front of the Bee Pocket.Â
- Push the leaves on your last two stems from your Mini Fishtail Fern up so the stems are short, and add one to each side, breaking up the Small Boxwood stems you added in before. And voila! Your piece is done!Â
