How to make a Candy Corn Wreath for Halloween

This candy corn pumpkin Halloween wreath an easy way to add some Halloween spirit to your home this season! It’s a bold and bright project that I will show you how to make, step-by-step.

This DIY Halloween wreath is also a great way to use a plush to embelish your design to really make it stand out! When you start making wreaths that are this simple you will see that you can easily add more and more products to your Etsy shop or to stock your booth at an upcoming craft fair.

Directions

  • Start by getting your Large Candy Corn Pumpkin into the middle of bottom inside of the grapevine. I prepoke a hole into the foam pumpkin with an awl then use a skewer dipped in hot glue to lock him into the grapevine and into the pumpkin. By going in several angels, I can really make sure that pumpkin is locked in.
  • I repeat the same process to attach my Small Candy Corn Pumpkin. I am sure to switch the angles they are in to really give it a more natural look. By anchoring these two focal points, I can really see where I want the placements for my next steps to be.
  • Now lets cut and fluff our Orange Phoenix Tail Fern. We are going to tuck it in and around the grapevine, framing out our perimeter. Be sure to save room in the bow zone.
  • Next we are going to cut out Candy Corn Stem so that we can add balance in the design with our placements.
  • Cake Pop Picks, are always super cute and add drama to any design so we are going to get them in next. Let’s add them to the top of the design only for now, and then….
  • It’s BOW TIME! Grab the premade bow that we made. You can watch this Bow video on Facebook or on YouTube. Attach it to the grapevine with the tie strap we built into it, secure and fluff!
  • Now we need to bring back the Cake Pop Picks back and start filling them in on the bottom now that we have the bow in.
  • To really bring in that nature look that I just love, we are going to use the Orange Fall Berry Spray. These are fun to curl and twirl in my fingers. It looks so pretty in the design and works as a great camoflouge. Really makes it a stinken cute wreath!
