- Start by prepping your Wood American Flag. I decided where I wanted my transition point to be, and then glued a small block of floral foam to the board. I decided to put mine just below the center point, so I could make sure the board hangs correctly.Â
- Now, break down your Mini Fishtail Fern. I pushed the leaves up a little, then trimmed it down so that I could add it to my design.Â
- Add a couple of longer pieces to your design, one pointing up to the right, one pointing down to the left. Then add 4 more shorter pieces around it, one on either side of the longer pieces.Â
- Break down your White Nomad Twig Path Spray just by pulling them apart, then trimming up the ends. Fluff up your stems, and arrange the twigs how you’d like them.Â
- Add them into your foam as well. I added mine with one pointing up to the right, one down to the left, and one diagonal toward the stars on the board.Â
- Cut down your Button Leaf Grass. One piece will want to stand up on its own. Leave that piece, then cut the two hanging pieces a little shorter.
- Add the two hanging pieces to your wreath. I added them toward the top of the foam, toward the right, so they can spill over the side of the foam.Â
- Cut your Blue Berry Spray down into three pieces, all still on the main stem for easy use.Â
- Add your Blue Berry Spray pieces to your piece. I added one toward the upper right, the lower left, and then below the others, because there is already a patch of blue from the board itself.Â
- Add your bow. We made a cut bow out of Open Weave Jute Netting Ribbon and Natural Linen Ribbon which works perfectly. If you want to make a bow that matches ours, check out this video to see how we made it.Â
- With your extra pieces of Mini Fishtail Fern and Button Leaf Grass, add them in and around the bow. This brings some of the green tones from the background into the foreground, and ties the whole piece together!Â
