- Start by prepping your cute Garden Frog with Two Buckets Container. I added a small block of floral foam into each bucket with a bit of hot glue.
- Break down your Large Yellow Hyacinth by cutting the stem off where the flower is. I kept about a 1-2” stem so that the flower doesn’t stick up as tall as the frog does.
- Add 2 flowers into each bucket. I added one a little higher and one a little lower so add some dimension to my project.
- Break down your Mini Fishtail Fern Bush into stems. I pushed my leaves up on the stems to make them a little shorter, and then cut them down into individual stems.
- Add some of your stems into your project. I added 3 to each bucket, one behind the flowers, one between the flowers, and one in front of the flowers.
- Break down your Yellow & Green Blossom Spray. This is easy to break down by cutting off each individual stem.
- Add 3 stems to each bucket. I added mine in between the flowers and the frog, being sure to add a curve to each stem so that I can have more movement and dimension.
- Grab your Mini Ivy Bush and break that down into smaller stems. Add 2 longer pieces into each bucket, then cut two stems in half to make 4 smaller pieces. Add these between the bucket handles and the frog to hide the foam.
- If you’re going to use this arrangement where the back will be important, turn your project around and use your extra fishtail fern and ivy pieces to fill in the back.
- And your project is finished!
TIPS AND TRICKS
- Make this project your own! Add extra charm with faux flowers, moss, or other decorative elements. Change out the greenery for a different leaf that you love more. Add a fun bow for added color. Make it yours!
- I love my glue skillet. It’s a simple skillet for the kitchen that I melt my glue sticks in to allow me to just dip my stems in and easily add them to my wreath.
- If you are worried about placement, do a dry run! You can just add your stems into the wreath without the glue and then move them around until you‘re happy with the placement. Then add your glue for your final placement!
