Pink and Green Daisy Swag

This project is so easy and quick to make that anyone can do it! All it takes is 10 minutes and a few supplies to put together an amazing design that will be stunning on your own door or will make many customers super happy this Spring. We start with a pre-made swag and add our own touches to take it to the next level. You’ll want to “shake hands” with the swag base so that each flower and stem is facing upwards and looking their best. We want to bring to life the beautiful pink Daisies so they can be the stars of the show.

What goes better with pink for Easter and Spring than green! Making a quick 2-1 recipe bow with a beautiful and bright green ribbon makes the perfect bow to top the swag off right. The ribbon is going to compliment the cheery green berry bushes as well and add more interest to the base design. Incorporating each new element you add, such as the ribbon and bow and berry bushes, into the pre-made swag base will add depth and dimension and make it a cohesive and unified design. This easy pink Daisy swag is going to be stunning by the time we’re finished with it. Let’s get started!

Directions

  • Shake hands with your pre-made swag base and fluff each flower and stem.
  • Measure a green ribbon tail as long as your swag and add to the EZ Bowmaker. Make two 6.5” loops on each side and trim the tails at opposite angles.  Use the green ribbon again to make a slightly shorter tail and make one 6” loop on each side. Cut the tail at an angle.
  • Use a cable tie around the center and spread out the loops. Add a second cable tie through the back and cinch tight. Cut a piece of ribbon and fold over itself width-wise and tie around the center to cover the cable tie.
  • Push a stem of green berries onto the top of the base. Cable tie together at the top. Trim the end off the second green berries and add at the bottom. Cable tie all the stems together in the center.
  • Separate flowers and incorporate the berries into your pre-made base. Add your bow into the top of your swag between the berries and flowers. Grab the longest tails and run them down the back.
  • Incorporate the other tails into the florals out to the sides. You can curl them or leave them long. Bring the pink daisies up into the center of the bow. Adjust any florals or berries and enjoy your design!

Why Use a Pre-Made Swag Base?

Starting with a pre-made swag base is a great way to make some beautiful pieces by adding a few extra components and some personal touches. All it takes is a couple of extra stems or bushes to really make a cohesive piece that is full of dimension and depth. It’s a great way to make stunning pieces that are quick and easy to fill your inventory. Use different ribbons or bows to give more variety and more options to choose from. Whether you are creating for your own home or building a business, it’s a great way to start!

  • Cut and prep the White Black Chenille Curly Stems add some dimension to them by curling with your fingers to really give them life.
  • Stem back and look at your your centerpiece. Are thier bald or blank spaces? Fluff you black garland to fill and use the wires in your products from Keleas.com to really get the pieces where you want them.
  • Grab one of your Glitter Curly Velvet Ball Picks and trim the stem down to a couple of inches. Fluff out your pick, and then place it to the left of your bow, tucking it behind the bow to have it peek out from behind it.
