Do you know what the best way to make your home feel cozier and welcoming is? It’s with a moss succulent wreath! Get ready for fall by crafting this beautiful wreath that is great for gifting, simple to make, and can be used year-round!
Moss Succulent Wreath
Today in this tutorial I am working on a chunky foam moss base. I love working with these types of bases because of how easy it is to just stick the stems of your succulents in. They are just as fun to work with as premade bases to me as I used in the Make Your Own Birthday Wreath Tutorial! Watch along as I show you just how to design your very own succulent wreath.
If you are looking for a different type of wreath design then this wreath is for you. It is super simple but looks amazing. There are not a lot of supplies for this wreath but you will love the outcome. Once you have completed this design you will step back and see just why I love it.

You can style this wreath in so many different ways. I love the idea of putting a potted plant in the middle of it. I think that would just be oh so cute! Also, if you are into fairy gardens this would be super cute sitting in one or hanging from a tree above some fairy houses.
I am telling you these would also be the perfect gift for teachers as well as a great gift option for a friend’s birthday. The possibilities are endless when it comes to what you can do with these Moss Succulent Wreaths. HOpe you give this a try and just most importantly have fun with flowers.

- To start let’s get the hanger attached to this wreath first. Using an 18 gauge wire I just simply fold it on itself to make a nice hanger out of this wire. Flip the wreath over and in that foam push your hanger in just slightly above so it does not show too much. Place a little hot glue over that wire to help secure it in place.
- Depending how you want your wreath is how you will push your succulents in. I use a little tool to help me premake the whole to push the succulent in. Once you have the placement decided and your whole pushed you are ready to dip your succulent into the hot glue. Then push it into the whole.
- You will repeat these steps each time you place a succulent. I am trying to space mine out and rotate them a little bit all around the wreath foam base. Once all your succulents are placed it is now time to place your other fun pieces in.
- Basically, I am making three little clusters on this wreath. You can decide what design you like but this one is what I prefer.
- Once you have placed something in the wreath that you used hot glue you can put your Spanish moss around the area to hide the hot glue that might have pushed out.

- Start by finding cutting the styrofoam so it is nestled inside of the Green Frankenstein Bucket so that it sits nicely inside and glue down. I like to use both Gorilla Glue and Hot Glue to really secure it for both now and long term.
- Cut Black Garland Base into small sections and set your base, spreading for maximum coverage.
- Prep your picks by grabbing your Purple Green Orange Felt Ball Twig Sprays. Sseparating them into smaller picks. You can also twist the black chenille around your finger to create a fun effect.Â
- Trim your Glitter Eye Ball Picks and add to the stryofoam. Be sure to space them for the best visual display.
- Cut and prep the White Black Chenille Curly Stems add some dimension to them by curling with your fingers to really give them life.
- Stem back and look at your your centerpiece. Are thier bald or blank spaces? Fluff you black garland to fill and use the wires in your products from Keleas.com to really get the pieces where you want them.
- Grab one of your Glitter Curly Velvet Ball Picks and trim the stem down to a couple of inches. Fluff out your pick, and then place it to the left of your bow, tucking it behind the bow to have it peek out from behind it.Â
