Ready to get started? We’ll guide you through each step to ensure your Red & Black Ladybug Wreath turns out beautifully. With just a few materials and a sprinkle of creativity, you’ll have an enchanting wreath that adds charm and joy to any space. Let’s dive in and create something wonderful together!

Directions

  • Start by attaching your Metal Ladybug with Legs to your grapevine wreath. First, I wedged the feet into the grapevine wreath. Then, attach the legs with cable ties or wire. I used black cable ties.
  • Now, break down your 2 Mini Fishtail Fern Bushes. I pushed the leaves up just a little bit, then cut them off the bushes.
  • Start by adding 4 stems around the perimeter of the wreath, creating the base for the rest of the wreath. I went clockwise around the wreath. Then, I added 4 more stems between each of the other stems.
  • Break down your 2 Mixed Green Sprays into individual stems. You should get 6 stems.
  • Add one of your Mixed Green stems above each of the greenery stems you added first, for a total of 6 stems.
  • Now, break down your Red Poppy Bush into as long of stems as you can.
  • Add your 8 Red Poppy stems around the wreath, spaced equally around the wreath. I added mine a little tighter to the center.
  • Add in your bow to your wreath. I make my bows with a cable tie, so this is really simple to attach to the wreath. Fluff your bow and weave the tails into the wreath. Check out our bow video HERE for all the details.
  • Cut your leftover greenery and Mixed Green spray pieces down into 2 pieces each, and start adding those in and around the bow, and any other spaces with holes.
  • Cut down your Crabapple Bush into individual stems. Add these berries around the wreath, one between each poppy.
  • Fluff and move anything around that needs it, and your wreath is complete!

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Experiment with different combinations of greenery and florals to create a wreath that suits your style.
  • Add extra flair by incorporating other embellishments like miniature ladybugs, other insects like butterflies, or ribbons.
  • Hang your wreath on a sturdy wreath hanger or hook for a picture-perfect display.
  • Don’t forget to fluff and arrange the greenery and florals to create depth and dimension in your wreath design.

How can I secure a metal centerpiece to a wreath base?

To secure a metal centerpiece to a wreath base, using cable ties is an excellent option. Start by positioning the metal centerpiece where you want it on the wreath. Thread a cable tie through a discreet part of the centerpiece and around the wreath base, then pull it tight to secure. Repeat this in multiple spots to ensure the centerpiece is firmly attached and stable. Trim any excess length from the cable ties for a neat finish. This method provides strong support while keeping the centerpiece securely in place.

What are some creative ways to display my Red & Black Ladybug Wreath?

There are many creative ways to display your Red & Black Ladybug Wreath! Hang it on your front door to greet guests with a cheerful touch, or place it above your mantel as a playful focal point. It also looks adorable on a garden gate or patio wall, adding a whimsical vibe to your outdoor space. For an indoor option, display it on an entryway wall or in a sunroom to bring a burst of color and fun to any room. Experiment with different spots to find the perfect display for your delightful wreath!
