Ready to get started? We’ve got all the tips and tricks you need to make your own Summer By the Sea Wreath shine. From the right products to arranging it on the wreath, I’ll help you create that exact wreath. Explore the art of wreath-making together—no beach required!

Directions

  • This wreath is made on a 10” grapevine, so all the width is going to come from the greenery and florals outside of the wreath.
  • Start by “greening” your perimeter with your greenery. I love the Cream Green Mini Fishtail Fern Bushes for this. I push my leaves up on the stem as long as I’d like them to stick out from the wreath, and then trim them.
  • Add the stems to your wreath. I start with 4 pieces around the perimeter of the wreath, and then go back in and add one between each of those, for a total of 8 stems around the wreath.
  • Break down your Teal Eucalyptus Bud Stems. These are easy to pull apart in three sections, then clean up the ends.
  • Add a Teal Eucalyptus Bud Stem between each of your Cream Green Mini Fishtail Fern stems around the perimeter of your wreath. I went a little closer to the center so the fern stems are the longest.
  • Now break down your first Light Blue and White Berry Stem the same way. You can just tear these apart and each of the stems of berries is separate.
  • Group the berry stems into groups of 2 and 3, and cut them down to about a 1” stem. Add one group of berry stems to the wreath around every other fishtail fern stem. I added these even more in the foreground.
  • Break down your second Light Blue and White Berry Stem the same way. Group these into groups of two, but cut the stems a bit longer, about 2”.
  • Add these longer stems into your wreath, one next to each of the shorter berry stems.
  • Grab your leftover Cream Green Mini Fishtail Fern stems and push the leaves up even higher. Cut the stems to about 1”, and add these around the inside of your wreath. I added 4.
  • Break down your last Light Blue and White Berry Stem the same way as before. Group these into groups of two, but cut the stems really short, about 0.5”.
  • Add one Light Blue and White Berry Stem on top of each of the fern stems you just added.
  • Step back from your wreath and see if there are any holes. Use your leftover stems in any holes.
  • And your beautiful wreath is complete!
  • All above ingredients are included in the kit, while supplies last.

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Make this wreath your own! Change out the greenery or florals to make your aesthetic. If you love purples, use purple floral! Add some fun picks like bees or a mermaid. Have fun with it! It’s your wreath after all.
  • I love my glue skillet. It’s a simple skillet for the kitchen that I melt my glue sticks in to allow me to just dip my stems in and easily add them to my wreath.
  • If you are worried about placement, do a dry run! You can just add your stems into the wreath without the glue and then move them around until you‘re happy with the placement. Then add your glue for your final placement!
